Marijuana CBD has recently been made legal in our country. In fact, this particular type of Marijuana CBD inflorescence has been certified as a product with a low THC content, the only substance detectable by drug tests and subject to penalty. So many people are nowadays interested in its consumption in order to take advantage of all its benefits, having said that, however, there is still fear and apprehension related to the risk of working problems at the legal level. Many people are not sure if they can consume light cannabis, so let’s see in this article how the job tests for these products work and the risks they may run into.
What does the law say about Marijuana CBD
As we have already mentioned, Marijuana CBD has currently been legalized in Italy, CBD in fact is not a psychotropic substance, as it does not alter a person’s normal mental and physical abilities. The presence within our bodies of THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is the only yardstick by which Italian law defines what is criminal and what is not. In fact, its content has been regulated, and at work the CBD drug test shall not give a result with THC content higher than 0.2 percent. In this case there is a maximum tolerance of 0.6%. In the presence of these values in urine or blood tests, it will not be possible to be prosecuted by law. It must be remembered, however, that particularly high or constant consumption over time, or other external factors such as a predisposition to the accumulation of metabolites, could change the outcome of testing. And that is why the consumption of Marijuana CBD or cbd-full spectrum oils require caution and care and above all the shrewdness of buying these products only from certified companies that can assure quality to its customers. For example, CBD Therapy is a Made in Italy, 100% legal company that deals with the cultivation, processing and subsequent sale of the best quality Marijuana CBD, thanks to an entirely natural and artisanal production. The Marijuana CBD for sale on its online portal in fact comes from plants grown thanks to the most innovative Hydroponic, indoor and greenhouse techniques.
What tests are conducted in the field of work
There are four main work-related toxicological tests to which you can be subjected, namely:
- Blood test
- Urine test
- Saliva test
- Hair test
Of these, the most frequently performed test in the workplace is the urine toxicology test, with which it will be possible to detect traces of THC even several weeks after cannabis use. Upon a possible positive result, the substance being psychoactive in nature, the company will generally ask its employee to perform a second check, namely blood tests, which are more reliable in revealing recent cannabis use with THC accumulation than cbd in urine. This will help attest to whether the person is actually under the influence of psychoactive substances at the time of the checkup or has been in recent times. Generally, for CBD in urine it will take only 3 or 4 weeks of complete abstinence to be non-positive, and for blood tests 12 or 24 hours to detect no more trace of it. On the other hand, one must remember that unfortunately, even Marijuana CBD can expose one to risks because, although the level of THC is relatively low, its accumulation in the body varies greatly due to personal factors, such as metabolism and excretion system. So, even those who use Marijuana CBD could face potential positive outcomes when undergoing testing in the work setting. As for the other two tests, however, these are less widely used for CBD residues, but can only tell whether the person is a heavy cannabis user. Therefore, this test is less useful and more expensive. On the other hand, as for the saliva test finally, this retains traces of THC and its metabolites for a short time, from about an hour up to a maximum of one day after cannabis intake. Therefore, this too, as well as the hair test, is little used.
